Evening air hung heavy with the scent
of beige poppy dust
and the spirit of the the future was awakened
when she was looking down a black road
Dancing glitter in a cigarette's deep end
in the sweet night's musk
chasing phantoms through the sounds of the thin men
And she was riding on a white horse
She took the low roads
to reach new heights
vultures circled
As she was riding
As she was riding on a white horse
The desert lies if you look closely
the silver dream mirage will fade
Acid washed skies set aside for vagrants
That come dreaming in the white noise
Between the self and the center
Her mind released it's wealth
Claws deep into the bones of the moment
She stayed alive through the long nights
She took the low roads
To reach new heights
vultures circled
As she was riding
She was riding on White Horse
The sun set itself down
It was a deep black night
Roads disappeared
But the lady rides
she rides and rides and rides
